We are committed to providing safe, memorable, and professionally organized trekking, expedition, camping, cultural, and adventure travel experiences across the Himalayas and other destinations. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking.
By booking any tour, trek, expedition, camp, or travel service with Himalayan Yeti Adventure ("the Company"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
To ensure adequate time for arranging permits, accommodation, transportation, guides, support staff, and other logistics, participants are encouraged to book their trips well in advance.
• Full payment or the required booking deposit must be made at the time of reservation to confirm your booking.
• A booking shall only be considered confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation has been issued by Himalayan Yeti Adventure.
• The Company reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed bookings without prior notice.
All participants must complete and sign the required Indemnity Bond, Medical Declaration, and any other mandatory forms before the commencement of the trip.
Participants acknowledge that trekking, mountaineering, camping, rafting, and other adventure activities involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, disability, loss, property damage, or death. By participating, you voluntarily accept these risks and agree to participate at your own responsibility.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or other approved communication channels and shall become effective from the date received by Himalayan Yeti Adventure.
• Cancellation made 15 days or more before the trip start date:
80% refund of the total trip cost.
20% retained as cancellation charges.
• Cancellation made 7 to 14 days before the trip start date:
70% refund of the total trip cost.
30% retained as cancellation charges.
• Cancellation made less than 7 days before departure:
No refund will be issued.
• Failure to join the trip on the scheduled departure date ("No Show"):
No refund will be issued.
• Voluntary departure from the trip after commencement:
No refund will be issued for unused services.
The following costs are non-refundable under all circumstances:
• Government permit fees
• Entry fees
• Visa and travel documentation charges
• Bank transfer fees and payment gateway charges
• Any expenses already incurred on behalf of the participant
As Himalayan Yeti Adventure initiates operational arrangements and vendor payments immediately upon confirmation, certain expenses become non-recoverable.
Himalayan Yeti Adventure reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodation, transportation, routes, schedules, guides, support staff, or any other service when deemed necessary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, government regulations, or unforeseen circumstances.
The decision of the Tour Leader, Trek Leader, Expedition Leader, Guide, or Company representative during the trip shall be final and binding on all participants.
Participants understand that adventure travel involves risks beyond the control of Himalayan Yeti Adventure.
The Company shall not be liable for:
• Personal injury, illness, disability, accident, or death.
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
• Delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by weather, natural disasters, road conditions, government restrictions, transportation failures, strikes, political unrest, or any other force majeure event.
Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel, accident, rescue, evacuation, and medical insurance before undertaking any trip.
Should a participant become ill or injured during the trip, all expenses related to medical treatment, rescue operations, evacuation, transportation, porter services, accommodation, hospitalization, and associated costs shall be the sole responsibility of the participant.
Himalayan Yeti Adventure will provide reasonable assistance in arranging medical care where possible but shall not be financially responsible for such expenses.
Participants are responsible for the proper care and use of any equipment supplied by Himalayan Yeti Adventure.
Any loss or damage beyond normal wear and tear caused by negligence, misuse, or intentional actions shall be charged to the participant. The Company's assessment regarding damage and replacement costs shall be final.
In the unlikely event that Himalayan Yeti Adventure cancels a trip due to insufficient participant numbers, a full refund of payments received will be provided.
Such refund shall constitute the participant's sole remedy, and the Company shall not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the participant, including airfare, accommodation, visa fees, or travel arrangements made independently.
Himalayan Yeti Adventure shall not be liable for any delay, alteration, interruption, or cancellation of services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• Natural disasters
• Floods, earthquakes, landslides, avalanches, storms, or severe weather
• Pandemics and public health emergencies
• Government restrictions and regulations
• Political unrest, strikes, riots, or civil disturbances
• Transportation failures or technical breakdowns
• Closure of roads, trekking routes, airports, or destinations
The Company will make every reasonable effort to provide suitable alternatives; however, additional costs arising from such circumstances may be the responsibility of the participant.
Participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward fellow travelers, guides, support staff, local communities, wildlife, and the environment.
Himalayan Yeti Adventure reserves the right to remove any participant from a trip without refund if their conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, illegal, or detrimental to the group or the success of the program.
The Himalayas are among the world's most precious and fragile natural environments. We encourage all participants to practice responsible tourism.
Participants are requested to:
• Avoid littering and dispose of waste responsibly.
• Minimize the use of plastic and polythene products.
• Respect wildlife and natural habitats.
• Avoid unnecessary noise pollution.
• Refrain from damaging trees, rocks, monuments, or cultural heritage sites.
• Respect local customs, traditions, and communities.
Take only memories, leave only footprints, and help us preserve the beauty of the Himalayas for future generations.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute arising from or relating to services provided by Himalayan Yeti Adventure shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India.
By making a booking with Himalayan Yeti Adventure, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with all Company policies, safety instructions, and decisions made by Company representatives during the trip.
